Serving Grapevine, TX

The Honda Civic boasts several decades of proven history impressing drivers in Grapevine and beyond. Throughout the model's history, it has combined spirited performance with desired features and enviable style. Now that you have your eye on a new Civic, you understandably want to know how this compact sedan has evolved between the 2021 and 2022 model years. For 2022, the Civic breaks into its 11th generation with bold improvements from end to end. After discovering their specific differences, you can more confidently make your final selection from our vast inventory at Grapevine Honda.

Performance

In 2021, the Honda Civic is offered with two powertrains. Lower trim levels have a 158-horsepower, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. The top trims pull 174 horsepower from a turbo 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. Both powertrains are tied to a continuously variable transmission and a front-wheel drive drivetrain. In 2022, the Civic comes with the same 158-horsepower engine in the lower trim levels. The EX and Touring trim levels are equipped with a 180-horsepower, turbo four-cylinder engine.

Appearance

The differences between the 2021 and 2022 Honda Civic continue throughout the exterior. While both versions of the Civic have stretched grille that integrates with the headlights, these features are reshaped for 2022. The central part of the grille is now thinner to accommodate a more extensive, sportier design on the lower front fascia. The headlights are angled with sharp corners, and they are accented by an LED light bar. In addition, the profile, roofline, and side accents of the 2022 Civic have a stronger linear flow. This gives the Civic a more confident look.

Features

You can find many of the same features in the 2021 and 2022 Honda Civic, but there are significant differences in standard features on a trim-by-trim basis. Features that are in both model years include a wireless device charging pad, front and rear parking sensors, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a navigation system, an automatic climate management system, wireless smartphone integration, leather material, a rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, heated front seats, a sunroof, a keyless ignition, USB ports, heated side mirrors and more.
